The Arizona Trucking Association (ATA) is excited to announce an opportunity to lead one of Arizona’s most respected trade associations. Current President & CEO Tony Bradley will step down on August 31, 2026, after 13 years of leadership, and the ATA Board of Directors has officially opened a search for his successor.
About the Opportunity
Since 1937, the Arizona Trucking Association has served as the voice of the trucking industry in Arizona, representing approximately 330 member companies — from small, family-owned businesses to major interstate carriers — along with allied industry partners across the state. ATA’s mission is to promote leadership in the Arizona trucking industry, advocate sound transportation policy, and support a safe and efficient goods movement system.
The next President & CEO will lead a 44-member Board of Directors and staff, serve as the Association’s principal voice at the State Capitol, and also lead the Arizona Trucking Association Foundation (ATA Foundation), ATA’s affiliated 501(c)(3) charitable and educational arm.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a well-established, mission-driven organization at a pivotal moment — and to help shape the future of one of Arizona’s most vital industries.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will bring senior-level executive experience, a passion for advocacy, and the ability to build strong relationships with members, legislators, and industry partners. Experience in the trucking or transportation industry — or with a member-based association — is a strong plus, though we welcome candidates from nonprofit, public sector, or private management backgrounds with transferable executive skills.
